Offset was reportedly arrested yesterday on a pair of felony weapons charges after the rapper’s vehicle was pulled over outside Atlanta.
According to the media house, the Migos rapper whose real name is Kiari Cephus was stopped by the Atlanta Police Airport Division for having illegally tinted windows, and when a search of the SUV was conducted by the officers, it was discovered that he was carrying at least one gun, a felony since he is a convicted felon on probation and marijuana.
He was booked into Clayton County Jail at 6:42 pm, and charged with two felonies, one for possession of a weapon during a crime, and possession of a firearm by a felon; as well as misdemeanors for improper lane change and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
Offset was still in jail as at press time as bail had not been set.
This comes mere weeks after he welcomed his daughter with rapper Cardi B.
Offset trouble with the law stems from a 2015 incident, when all three members of Migos were charged with felony possession of a schedule II narcotic and carrying a loaded gun on school property during a concert at Georgia Southern University.
