The Lagos Fashion Fair 2019 is set to showcase over 40 Nigerian and Foriegn Exhibitors while offering opportunities for designers fashion retailers and Nigerian entrepreneurs, Atlantic Exhibitionm, the organiser has said.
The fair which comes up on the 25th – 27th of September, 2019 at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites VI in Lagos, will offer three days of ”unforgetable fashion experience , exhibition, masterclass, runway, and entertainment”.
Speaking at Press Conference held in Lagos ahead of the event, the Managing Director of Atlantic Exhibition, Ayodeji Olugbade said the objective of the Lagos Fashion Fair 2019 has remained to create an enabling platform where creative Nigerian designers, fashion entrepreneurs can connect with international designers to showcase the beauty and creativity of both to the world through their designs and innovation.
Olugbade also noted that the this year edition will also look to celebrate Nigerian entreprenuers who have mastered the art of fashion by using it to make bold statements and create more versatility in their designs and brand.
Fielding questions from newsmen, Olugbade empasised the importance of fashion to the growth of the Nigerian economy.
” We cannot all close shop and and go home, the economy will suffer more, he said.
According to him, the Lagos fashion fair will open the Nigerian market to international supplies, disclosing that ”exhibitors and partners are coming from China, India, Turkey among others.
