JUST IN: NNPC Oil Tanker On Fire In Ogudu, Lagos (Photos)

A fully loaded tanker carrying a petroleum products has caught fire in Ifako Ogudu area of Lagos.

The incident which was reported by an eyewitness around 6:30pm, happened on top of the bridge after Oworonshoki, few meters after the 3rd mainland bridge heading towards Lagos toll gate before Ogudu Ori Oke.

The incident has caused traffic gridlock along the axis.

The tanker belongs to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC

Emergency services are currently at the scene as at the time of filing this report.

Casuality figures could not be acertained at the moment.
