End Of The Road: Nigerian Drug Trafficker Jailed For Life

A Nigerian man identified as Okoro Chukwuka Boniface, 28, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for drug transport and trafficking.

The Presiding Judge, Seng Rithy at the Phnom Penh Municipal Court noted that Boniface and his accomplice Frank Obiora Dozie, 34, were arrested on the 13 of July 2017 for trafficking 189 packs of cocaine weighing 1.1 kilos from Colombia to Cambodia by DHL.

Boniface was jailed for life after admitting his guilt but Dozie pleaded innocence during the trial, saying he knew Boniface but was not aware of his activities.

They were also fined them $17,500 each.
